BACTEX Mold, algae, and other organic growth in damp areas such as bathrooms, showers, cellars, basements and underground storage areas having condensation and little air circulation, besides to be an aesthetic problem, represents an hygienic problem and cause structural damage to substrates and stone materials. General® Chemical Engineering, concerned with all aspects inherent to the cleaning, care and maintenance of marble and all types of natural stone has developed this extremely versatile and effective product to compact this specific problem. The viscous consistency facilitates applications, even on vertical surfaces. BACTEX’s quaternary salts are synergized by oxidant substances and perform quickly and effectively. Because of the natural acid buffers present in BACTEX, this product is not to be used on polished marble.
